The trip was fantastic; thanks for a great job of organizing. We will remember it forever. We had an EXCELLENT experience. Dafna has boundless energy and was excellent. She kept us moving from site to site, and due to her experience in knowing what sites were likeliest to be busy at certain times of day, used our willingness to be flexible to maximize our time to cover territory efficiently. Her knowledge of Israel is truly encyclopedic. Thank you for all the amazing organisation. You did everything possible to make it a wonderful tour despite what might be thrown at you - curve balls, change of minds, rain…. You are a fantastic and calm organiser and the whole amazing tour would not have been possible without your tireless hard work. And all your recommendations from the rabbi to the photographer to the places we visited on the tour. Truly a trip of a lifetime! It surpassed all our expectations and I have been to Israel many times but not visited these places in years and there were many amazing new places to see. Harry was shocked at how truly amazing Israel was and has not stopped talking about the trip. His brother said it was the trip of a lifetime. Rabbi Jeff was fantastic and to change the day at the last minute because of bad weather was just a stroke of genius. It was such a special time that it is hard to pick out highlights. But the whole ceremony was beautifully conducted and very moving. He made it a very special Jerusalem Bar mitzvah. And my son William was very happy. I would recommend Eucalyptus restaurant to anyone for a celebration dinner. The food was awesome. Other highlights for the kids was the sifting project, the kangaroo farm, Sachne swimming (which I loved it was beautiful) and Massada of course, is always worth the climb. Adults too loved Massada. We really enjoyed the Golan Jeep Tour - something we have never done before and was so educational. We also had never been to Caperneum and that was fascinating. All of the hotels and the kibbutz were really good. All the food fantastic. Mikki was a great tour guide. He was extremely patient with all of us and all the children. He is a walking encyclopaedia and can answer any question on any subject. My husband was thrilled that he was so knowledgeable on Christianity and that he made sure to make time for the Stations of the Cross and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. And a side trip to Capernium. I cannot fault the tour in any way. As I say, it was even better than we had ever hoped. An amazing experience. We have come back with a greater understanding of Israel and would definitely recommend it and would love to go and do it all over again! Thank you once again for everything.

Reading from the Torah at a Bar Mitzvah in Israel

Because there was so much that was wonderful about the trip, I don't know where to start...We loved having Baruch as our guide. He was knowledgeable and passionate about Israel. He was engaging intellectually and open to talking about anything that we asked - from political to personal. He shared a lot about his life and family - a very personal dimension which was really fascinating to us and helped us understand contemporary life as an Israeli and a Jew in the Mid East. Historically, he was a fountain of knowledge. With the girls, Baruch was kind and playful but did not talk down to them. He treated them like the smart young women they are. He was great at engaging them with questions and keeping their attention and interest. I think traveling with Baruch was the only way to go. He was by far the best guide we have ever experienced -- both in his energy, interest, knowledge and thoughtfulness. Both Steve and I enjoyed Baruch's company as both a guide and as a friend. The Ayalon Institute was really interesting - much more so than it sounded on the itinerary. The excavation of rubble from the Temple Mount Emek Ein Zurim, was amazing -- not only did the girls find artifacts but we all loved the idea that we were uncovering fragments of antiquities. Another highlight was going to the market on a Friday afternoon -- we love marketplaces. Masada was wonderful as was the whole Bat Mitzvah experience and Rabbi Jeff. I would recommend doing this in a heartbeat to anyone thinking about making a Bat Mitzvah trip to Israel. Dead Sea was really cool and we all liked that - even in the terrible heat --- also liked the hotel you booked us at for lunch following the ceremony and the fact that the resort provided towels and showers and clean pleasant access to the Dead Sea along their private beachfront. Overall, it was one of the best trips I have taken. Israel is a magnificent place and I hope we can return soon. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful experience for us -- despite the bombing. I am so happy that we went and look forward to coming again.

The hotels were fantastic. The King David was the favorite hands down. We really really enjoyed the culinary tour. Too bad we felt so full so quickly despite not eating beforehand! We also enjoyed both market tours. We have an appreciation for the local foods and produce. We loved the ATV and jeep rides. The entire family loved the rappelling. Griffin and Jan did it three times. Baruch was wonderful as usual. We can't say enough good things about him. We all wish we had more time in Israel. Thus we must return for a third trip, likely with all hikes with Baruch, possibly in the Negev and more time learning about Israeli culture. Perhaps a farm stay or time on a kibbutz?

The trip was fabulous. Thank you so much for doing such a great job coordinating it. Everything everywhere was ready for us wherever we went. Thank you for arranging such a perfect smooth-running Bar Mitzvah trip through Israel. We all had a wonderful time, every minute stuffed with the makings for good memories. Mickey was a great choice for our guide. He brought history to life, kept our interest… and took superb care of us. The Bar Mitzvah was very different from anything we expected. We had a good location at the end of Davidson Park. It was very picturesque. Sage did a great job, not making any mistakes reading from the Torah. The hotels were all very good. We loved the Mount Zion Hotel best. Great atmosphere, wonderful breakfasts and comfortable lounge to lounge in and check our E-mail. We all enjoyed the views from the windows and liked having to go down instead of up to our rooms, which were large and comfortable. It was an amazing trip. While Yad Vashem was overwhelming, yet important and moving, the ruins, Bell Caves, the Dead Sea, nature walks, and dolphin swim were exciting and uplifting. We also saw a lot of the borders and Valley of Tears which Mickey was passionate about. Lunch at a Druze Village was also a good choice. You did a great job preparing the tour Yael. All went well. We loved every minute. I think, for Sage, and all of us it was all we hoped it would be - a memorable happening, one that instilled in us an understanding of Israel and our heritage. Thank you again. I will definitely recommend you and your company to friends should they want to tour.

We are home safe and sound. I wanted to personally thank you for helping us organize our wonderful trip. It really was a special experience, and Yaakov was a wonderful guide and a pleasure to spend time with. The scavenger hunt was a really nice way to experience the old city. My kids loved the munitions factory and the caves that Yaakov took us too, as well as Rosh Haniqra, and the Hagishrim kibbutz was a very pleasant surprise too. All the best, and hopefully we will be booking our next trip through you for Aiden's Bar Mitzvah in two years. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Israel.

The highlight of this trip, of course, was Samantha’s Bat Mitzvah and sharing it with family. I was so happy that she choose to become Bat Mitzvah in Israel and that she choose to do it on Masada. The Rabbi was great… Our Celebration dinner was perfect. Even though there were 2 other Bar Mitzvahs in the restaurant that evening, we had great service in a small back private room. The Manager and Chef both came over to give us, and especially Sam, special attention and do the Chef’s special upside-down chicken tradition. The food was unusual, they kept the wine flowing, and it was a great recommendation. What can I say about Zamir. A lovely, well-informed, and very patient man. Our group included 3 generations from 10 to 78 and he balanced things so that the adults got the information we wanted and the children did not get too bored. I loved that he had little surprises for us on different days. Things that were not on our itinerary and that we weren’t expecting. The kids (of all ages) loved the Australian Zoo, the zip ride and Mini Israel. I think we all really appreciated the deluxe mini bus you provided. With all the driving, it allowed us each to have a window seat to view the scenery, and to spread out and be comfortable. Each time we saw a big tour bus unloading we were so grateful to have our mini bus and Zamir. And talking about patience, we didn’t see a Rest Room that we didn’t want to stop at. He became very good at pointing them out to us wherever we went. It truly felt like he got to know us. He was definitely a major plus to the trip. I have to say, I felt completely safe and not concerned at all during our trip. I had a marvelous time and just loved being in Israel. Think everyone should see it, especially Jews. It’s an “Open your Heart” experience.

Thank you for everything! It was a life changing trip. The hotels were perfect. The service perfect. The food perfect. The ceremony was magical. Rabbi Jeff was great. El Al was great. We already decided to come back in two and a half years for our other daughter's bat mitzvah and hope to bring friends in addition to family. We will stay longer since school will be out and visit other parts of the country (Tel Aviv, Netanya, upper Galilee, Golan Heights and possibly Eilat). Our daughter already decided to have her Bat Mitzvah at Baram ancient synagogue. If you have any information on bat mitzvah's at this synagogue and park, it would be appreciated. We are back safe and sound. I just wanted you to know that we had an amazing trip and the Bar Mitzvah exceeded all of my expectations. We loved Mickey! We ask a lot of questions and he was so happy to share his knowledge with us. He was a pleasure to be with and I definitely recommend him. Some activities we didn't do because it was so hot & we wanted to get to Tel Aviv by 5:00. But Mickey told us about the history of everything. Also, he was great with conversations about politics & Israel today. Metulla, ice skating, shooting, Herod’s Palace, zip line, West Bank, dinner in Tiberias, were our favorite stops. Mt Zion was a beautiful hotel. Very special hotel! Eucalyptus was delicious and so unusual. We spoke to the chef a lot. So much tasty food. Special. Sat outside and enjoyed. Perfect place to celebrate Jacobs day. Thank you so much!

The location of the Bar Mitzvah atop Masada was breathtaking and the celebration at Eretz Bereshit in the Judean desert---the camel rides, drummers, belly dancer and great food---was simply spectacular. Your customized itinerary was perfectly suited to our interests and having a very knowledgeable guide, competent driver and comfortable bus, made the journey a true pleasure. Our tours were incredible. Really well done! Yinon was very nice. He was very well versed and very proud of his country and heritage. My cousin had a THOUSAND questions and he answered all with a smile. We really enjoyed him. Zeev was amazing as well. His military background made us feel a bit more safe, especially when crossing the Palestinian border (what a crazy experience!). He did a very good job of keeping our group of 12 on track and made it a priority to get us back to the boat on time. I just wish we would have had a bit of time to shop in the market in Jerusalem. We really enjoyed Meir. Very informative and very pleasant to be with. I wish we had more opportunity to use his services. We loved Petra! The tour was very well organized. Our tour guide was a great ambassador for Jordan. We only wished we could of spent more time in Petra itself. Next time I would stay in Petra at least one night.We really liked Eilat...Loved the Mt. Zion Hotel - the architecture and gardens were beautiful. Eucalyptus was excellent. Good location near our hotel. We sat upstairs in a room with another large party celebrating a bat mitzvah. The chef did a fun food "unveiling" at our table and had the bar and bat mitzvah kids participate with him - dancing around . The food was excellent. We left the restaurant stuffed!! All and all I would suggest the restaurant...Our trip went smoothly. We really enjoyed everything!!! Thanks so much for all your help!!!
